JOHN HERMAN NHFX Director of Education: John Herman brings a diverse background
to NHFX. As an on-air personality, he co-hosted a season of Granite State
Challenge on NHPTV. As a young filmmaker, he received a National Gold
Award from the Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition, and as an adult,
John was recognized by NHFX for his body of work in documentary filmmaking
(before joining the board of directors). A NH certified English teacher
with a Master’s Degree in Education, John teaches English and Communications
at Epping High School during the day, while at night he performs with
the local improv comedy troupe Stranger
Than Fiction. He is also the Director of Improv for Boston’s
popular comedy collective, The
Tribe. John is also working on his first novel.
