• Open to all genres
• Open to all lengths
• Completion Date: on or after January 1, 2004
• Origin: anywhere in the world
• No premiere status is required
• Projects may have distribution

Categories of Award

• Best Feature
• Best Short Drama
• Best Short Comedy
• Best Documentary
• Best Animation
• Best Student

Early Submission

• Deadline: June 30, 2006
• Fee for works under 30 minutes: $20
• Fee for works 30-60 minutes: $25
• Fee for works over 60 minutes: $35

Late Submission

• Deadline: July 31, 2006
• Fee for works under 30 minutes: $30
• Fee for works 30-60 minutes: $35
• Fee for works over 60 minutes: $45

Students save $10 on film submission fees with proof of enrollment (copy of current student ID required)

SCREENPLAY ENTRIES

Project Criteria

• Open to all genres
• Open to all lengths
• Writer must be at least 18 years old
• Writer must reside in the New England states (CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME) or the Canadian Maritime provinces
• Writer must NOT have received more than $5,000 in compensation from the sale or optioning of a screenplay
• An entered screenplay may not have been previously optioned, sold or produced
• Prior winners are not eligible

Grand Prize

• Award for Best Screenplay
• Five hundred dollars ($500 U.S.)

Early Submission

• Deadline: June 30, 2006
• Fee = $35 (U.S.), $45 (Canada)

Late Submission

• Deadline: July 31, 2006
• Fee = $45 (U.S.), $55 (Canada)
